Natura 2000 is an EU-wide network of protected areas. It is made up of the bird protection areas in accordance with Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 30, 2009 on the conservation of wild birds and the protected areas of the Fauna-Flora-Habitat (FFH) Directive 92/43/EEC of the Council of May 21, 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora.
There are three FFH and three bird sanctuaries in Wolfsburg. It is the task of the lower nature conservation authority to secure, maintain and develop these areas in the long term. In the first step, the notified areas are designated as nature reserves.On this page youwillfind:

The text of the ordinance, maps, the reasons for the ordinance and the consideration of the objections received. - Anyone whose interests are affected by the designation of the nature conservation area can raise objections in writing or in writing to the City of Wolfsburg up to two weeks after the expiry of the display period (objection period).
The City of Wolfsburg informs that in accordance with the European Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSG-VO), personal data such as name, address data as well as e-mail address will be used and stored with the submission of comments for the legally determined documentation and information obligations.
