Art exhibition to mark the 35th anniversary of the Halberstadt-Wolfsburg town twinning

To mark the 35th anniversary of the town twinning, a special exchange of artists is taking place between Halberstadt and Wolfsburg: The Halberstadt artists ilka Leukefeld & Olaf Wegewitz are exhibiting their socio-political works of art at the Hoffmann von Fallersleben Museum as a "duo in a quartet". In the fall, Wolfsburg artists Bettina Hackbarth and Volker Veit will complete the quartet and present their works at the Schraube-Museum Halberstadt.

Admission is free.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday: 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday: 1 pm to 5 pm. Sunday/Public holiday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 1 and 21 closed

"MOTHER EARTH MAKES ... and what develops from it"

Wolfsburg artist Ruthild Tillmann interprets the ground monument in front of the Schloss Wolfsburg castle recesses and incorporates the surrounding area.
The artistic installation poses questions about how we deal with the frightening changes in our world such as droughts, floods and other climate disasters and their effects on us.
