Health Promotion
Health promotion should be understood as a process that aims to empower all citizens to make responsible decisions regarding their health. While prevention aims to prevent or detect illness at an early stage and promotes, for example, vaccinations, a healthy diet, early detection and sufficient exercise, the approach of health promotion is to strengthen people's health.
