45 years of social psychiatric service in Wolfsburg
Starting with the weakest. The Social Psychiatric Service has been working for and with mentally ill citizens of Wolfsburg and their relatives since 1979. It offers low-threshold, outreach support 365 days a year. It stands for the networking of all social psychiatric support services in the community, coordinates help and actively contributes to the development of the psychiatric care landscape. It makes an important contribution to the normalization and thus anti-stigmatization of psychiatric illnesses. We celebrate that!

A mental health crisis can affect anyone. Almost one in three people will suffer from a mental illness in the course of their lives. Mental illnesses can manifest themselves in very different ways and can occur at any age. These can include symptoms such as anxiety, panic or inner emptiness.
As a multi-professional team, we, the Social Psychiatric Service, offer Wolfsburg's citizens short-term advice; not only for those affected themselves, but also for relatives, friends and acquaintances.
