Growing and Maturing" documents the developmental steps of each child in the municipal daycare centers of the city of Wolfsburg. This documentation booklet was specially developed by the staff of the facilities. It takes into account the nine educational areas of the Lower Saxony orientation plan for education and upbringing in the elementary sector and follows the following basic ideas:
Children are born learners. Growing and maturing" illustrates and documents learning progress.
Each child develops at his or her own pace. Therefore, there is no age scaling in "Growing and Maturing", but only a rough subdivision into nursery and kindergarten age.
Education is holistic. With the 9 educational areas, the entire development of the child is considered. The educational areas are identical to the educational mandate of the Lower Saxony orientation plan for daycare centers.
Praise and recognition is the greatest motivation. The formulations are therefore positive and directed at the child. The documentation booklet is easy to fill out. Compared to other observation and documentation tools for daycare centers, it is less time-consuming.
The documentation is clear and easy to understand for parents. It forms a helpful basis for the annual developmental interview. Parents are welcomed to the daycare center with the letter to parents and the guidelines for the admission interview.
From practice for practice: "Growing and Maturing" was developed with pedagogical staff from the municipal daycare centers in Wolfsburg. Experiences and suggestions for improvement from everyday use are regularly incorporated into new editions of the documentation booklet.

Since its introduction in 2011, you have been used to constant prices from us. Due to the increased cost of purchase, we would therefore like to announce a new price structure for our documentation booklet, which also includes a new discount. From 01.09. the following prices will apply:
- up to 19 issues: 12,00 Euro
- up to 99 issues: 10,00 Euro
- up to 249 issues: 9.00 euros
- from 250 booklets: 7.50 euros
The prices quoted do not include VAT.
