    Elterncafé zur Weltwoche der Geburt

    ᠎Pending Translation:

    Am 20.05.2026 laden wir herzlich zu einem offenen Elterncafé ein. Wir möchten einen Ort schaffen, an dem Eltern mit Migrationsgeschichte ins Gespräch kommen, Fragen stellen und sich vernetzen können.
    
    Zeit: 9:00–12:00 Uhr 
    Ort: DAS WEST, Samlandweg 17, Wolfsburg (UG, Räume U12 & U6)
    
    Vor Ort sprechen wir viele Sprachen: Arabisch, Französisch, Kurdisch, Englisch, Farsi, Russisch, Ukrainisch und Türkisch. Kinder sind willkommen. Für Tee und Kekse ist gesorgt – gern darf etwas fürs Mitbringbuffet beigesteuert werden.
    
    Wir freuen uns auf ein warmes, offenes Miteinander.

    Tag der offenen Tür Im DAS WEST

    ᠎Pending Translation:

    Am Samstag, 30. Mai 2026, öffnet das DAS WEST von 12:00 bis 16:00 Uhr seine Türen für alle Nachbar*innen, Familien und Interessierten.

    Unter dem Motto „Bunt, offen, international!“ präsentieren die Gruppen, Initiativen und Vereine des Hauses ihre vielfältigen Angebote.

    Besucher*innen erwartet ein lebendiger Nachmittag mit Musik, internationaler Kulinarik, Mitmachaktionen für Groß und Klein sowie vielen Möglichkeiten, miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen.

    Das Begegnungszentrum zeigt an diesem Tag, wie vielfältig, offen und gemeinschaftlich das Zusammenleben im Stadtteil gestaltet wird

  DAS WEST offers a wide range of events, advice opportunities and open meeting formats. The integration department's open meetings are a permanent feature, offering all interested parties a space for exchange and networking. In addition, various clubs and groups use the center for cultural and community activities. In addition, there are regular counseling services offered by external providers, including Flüchtlingshilfe Wolfsburg e.V., the AWO project "Aktiv in Arbeit" and the pregnancy counseling service of the Diakonisches Werk des Kirchenkreises Wolfsburg/Wittingen.

• Space for ideas and encounters

  DAS WEST provides a versatile infrastructure for various event formats. Whether workshops, courses, cultural events or collaborative work - our premises offer the perfect setting.

  The available rooms include creative spaces such as the sewing and art workshop, a large hall, a cozy lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and a co-working space. This creates ideal conditions for education, exchange and creative projects.

  Interested associations, groups and initiatives can book and use the rooms by prior arrangement. Please use the following form.

  DAS WEST is designed to be barrier-free so that as many people as possible can use the premises. Although there are stairs, they are equipped with a stair lift to make access easier. There is also a low-barrier toilet. We are committed to continuously making the center even more accessible.

  WHEN: Depending on availability, the premises can be rented daily from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 22:00.

᠎Pending Translation: Ich leite die Begegnungsstätte DAS WEST und sorge dafür, dass die Abläufe im Haus gut funktionieren und sich die Angebote kontinuierlich weiterentwickeln. Dabei koordiniere ich die Nutzung der Räume, arbeite eng mit Vereinen, Initiativen und städtischen Partnern zusammen und begleite die Weiterentwicklung des WEST als offenen Ort für Begegnung und Austausch. Ein wichtiger Teil meiner Arbeit ist es, Menschen miteinander zu vernetzen und Kooperationen zu stärken. Mir ist wichtig, dass DAS WEST ein offener Ort ist, an dem sich Menschen willkommen fühlen, sich einbringen können und Vielfalt selbstverständlich gelebt wird.

Ich gestalte gemeinsam mit unserem Team die Angebote und Veranstaltungen im Haus, begleite die Konzeptentwicklung und bin Ansprechperson für alles rund um die Quartiersarbeit. Außerdem koordiniere ich das Migranten Eltern Netzwerk Wolfsburg und setze mich dafür ein, dass Eltern gut informiert sind, ihre Kinder stärken können und das Bildungssystem in Deutschland besser verstehen – für mehr Chancengleichheit. Mir ist wichtig, dass sich Familien, Nachbar*innen und Engagierte bei uns willkommen, gesehen und gut aufgehoben fühlen.

Ich begleite ehrenamtliches Engagement und unterstütze Menschen dabei, eigene Ideen und Projekte umzusetzen. Außerdem koordiniere ich das Programm „Start with a Friend“ in Wolfsburg und bringe Menschen miteinander in Kontakt. Mir ist es wichtig, einen offenen Ort zu schaffen, an dem sich alle willkommen, respektiert und gut aufgehoben fühlen. Gemeinsam schaffen wir Raum für Begegnung, Austausch und neue Impulse.
