This is how the page is structured
On this page we explain the sections of our website.
Our website has several sections. These are from top to bottom:
- Header
- Full text search
- Current news
- Very frequently searched topics
- Other important topics
- Footer
The header is always visible. At the top left of the page is the logo of the city of Wolfsburg. Next to it is the word Wolfsburg. Both belong together. You can click on it. You will then always return to this page.
There are 2 buttons at the top right. One is for the city map. You can change the language with the symbol to the right of it. You can select German or English.
How to find information
You will find the main menu under the header. The symbol has 3 black lines. You can click on the symbol. The main menu opens. The main menu consists of these areas:
- Health, Social
- Learning, culture and sport
- Politics and administration
- tourism
- Work, Digital
- Housing, environment and transport
The search
You can also find information in our search. You will find the search field to the right of the main menu. It is a white field. It says: What are you looking for? Enter a word here. Then click on the symbol with the magnifying glass to the right of it.
News
In the middle section you will find the latest news from the city. Each news item has a picture, a headline and a short text. Click on it to find out more.
Important information
This section contains important information in green boxes.
The information is:
- When the town hall is open
- Citizen service
- Other websites of the city of Wolfsburg. These are called portals
- Online services. You can do these at home.
Footer
At the bottom of the page in the footer you will find further topics.
There you will find

- our telephone number
- our electronic mail address
In the footer you will also find
- City map
- career
- Town hall opening times
- Online appointments
You can click on these words. You will then be taken to another page or another text.
At the bottom right you will see signs for social media. The city of Wolfsburg has channels there. Click on the icons to open the pages.
