Šuma Čovjek does away with the clichés of classic Balkan pop. Heart-wrenching lyrics and an eccentric mix of melancholy ballads, rhythmic Balkan pop-rock pieces, oriental beats and furious brass sounds transform her live concerts into fantastic moments.
The center of their show is the interaction with the audience. The two lead singers Ivica Petrušić and Hafid Derbal tell their story in French, Croatian and Arabic. Hardly anyone can understand everything, but Šuma Čovjek moves people emotionally on so many levels and not least: makes them dance.
