Hand in hand for modern mobility
The heart of Lower Saxony, Europe's leading mobility location, beats in Wolfsburg and the region. In numerous research activities, the partners demonstrate their competencies in the entire field of mobility. These include, for example, the Open Hybrid LabFactory, a research center for the development and production of hybrid lightweight components. The new center is located in the immediate vicinity of Volkswagen AG's Mobile Life Campus, which is home to the Lower Saxony Vehicle Technology Research Center (NFF). Projects for the optimization of transport infrastructure and intelligent mobility also demonstrate the industry's capabilities.

Wolfsburg AG supports companies from the mobility sector with project management, strategy and consulting, and is on hand to answer questions about setting up operations. In addition, the joint subsidiary of the city of Wolfsburg and Volkswagen AG coordinates activities in the inner-city "Digital Mobility Test Field. Every two years, Wolfsburg AG organizes the International Suppliers Fair (IZB), the leading European trade fair for the automotive supply industry.
