From May 12 to 18, 2025, the nationwide campaign week "Gut betreut in Kindertagespflege" will take place. The aim of the campaign week is to raise awareness of child day care as a valuable and family-oriented form of care.

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Nicole Stützer, a childminder from Wendschott (Im Sommerfeld 4, 38448 Wolfsburg), will open her doors and cordially invites interested parents from Wolfsburg and Gifhorn to an open day from 9 am to 11 am.

Parents will have the opportunity to get to know the premises, find out about the services for children under the age of three and talk to the childminder. There will be small activities for children such as soap bubbles, painting activities, everyday materials and a swing cloth. Visits are possible without registration - just drop by and get to know daycare!

On Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., an information and activity stand will be set up by the City of Wolfsburg on the Rathausplatz in the area of the chessboard. Interested parents will have the opportunity to find out more about child day care, talk to experienced child day carers and gain an insight into this special form of care with information material and cards with personal experiences. Another highlight: colorful glitter tattoos for the little visitors.
