Wladimir Kaminer reads in Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg City Library is delighted to welcome one of Germany's best-known authors and storytellers on Friday, September 5: Wladimir Kaminer will be reading from his new book Mahlzeit - Geschichten von Europas Tischen.
With a curious eye and a fine sense of humor, Kaminer embarks on a culinary journey of discovery through Europe. It is about much more than just food: In Portugal, Bulgaria, Moldova and Serbia, he listens to the people - their stories, worries, dreams and recipes. An evening as colorful and surprising as Europe itself - and very much in the style of Kaminer: charming, clever and subtle.
The reading begins at 7 pm (admission 6:15 pm) and takes place in the Alvar Aalto House of Culture, Lecture Hall 1. Tickets cost 25 euros and will be available from June 2 via the new online ticket store - which can be found on the Bildungshaus Wolfsburg website at www.bildungshaus-wolfsburg.de in the Service section.
