The Schiller40 coworking space is the place to go for the cultural and creative industries in the city of Wolfsburg
The Markthalle - Raum für digitale Ideen (Market Hall - Space for Digital Ideas) forms the new digital nucleus in Wolfsburg and is the innovation spot at the Nordkopf. Next to 42Wolfsburg, Germany's first municipal coworking space forms an interface between the topics of "new work," business, and digital participation of the urban society as an urban HUB and offers a participatory range of services with its spaces, infrastructure, and events.
This place invites people to learn, network and work and creates synergies between the most diverse target groups in Wolfsburg and the region.
In addition to workstations, workshop and meeting rooms, Schiller40 also has the following functional areas
- Augmented and virtual reality lab
- Podcast studio (recording studio for podcasts and audio books)
- Broadcast and film studio (live streaming studio for digital content)
- Hybrid eventspace with livestreaming unit
- Fablab - (open workshop with 3D printer, laser cutter in cooperation with 42Wolfsburg )
The offers and infrastructure are basically open to all citizens, companies and institutions in Wolfsburg and can be used for events and formats. Schiller40 also organizes its own events, formats and workshops.
The Smartphoneschule Wolfsburg, a digital participation program for older people, is also based at Schiller40 and offers a weekly program there.
In 2020, the Markthalle - Raum für digitale Ideen (Market Hall - Space for Digital Ideas) and the Schiller40 coworking space were honored as Lower Saxony's Digital Venue.
