This is how the start page is structured
On this page we explain the texts that are available on our website.
Our website has several sections. These are from top to bottom:
- Header
- Full text search
- Current news
- Topics that are frequently searched for on the website
- Other important topicsFooter
The header is always visible.
The logo of the city of Wolfsburg is at the top left. Next to it is the word Wolfsburg. Both belong together. If you click on it, you will always return to the start page.
There are 2 buttons at the top right. One is for the city map. You can change the language with the symbol to the right of it. You can select German or English.
The main menu
You will find the main menu under the header at the top. The symbol has 3 black lines. You can click on the symbol. The main menu of the page opens. The main menu consists of the following areas:
- Physical and mental well-being and social issues
- Learning, culture and sport
- Politics and government
- Tourism
- Economy and digital
- Housing, environment and transport
The search
You can also find information in our search. You will find the search field to the left of the main menu. It is a white field. It says: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? Enter a word here. Then click on the symbol with the magnifying glass to the right of it.
News
In the middle section you will find the latest news from the city. Each news item has a picture, a headline and a short text. Click on it to find out more.

Under the section NEWS you will find important information in green fields.
