A re-registration is required if a person changes his or her residence within Wolfsburg.

- Vehicle registration document or registration certificate part I (if you own a vehicle registered to you)
- Accommodation provider confirmation (see below)
The re-registration of an apartment is free of charge.
The change of the vehicle registration certificate/registration certificate part I costs 11,40 Euro
The notification period after moving into a new apartment is two weeks.
Difference between re-registration and registration:
- Re-registration - takes place when you move within a city
- Registration - takes place when you move from another city or from abroad (see the following link).
