The new stage platform in Fallersleben Castle Park has been completed and will be officially opened with a concert on Friday, June 28, starting at 4:30 pm. The event on the Hoffmannwiese is open to the public and all interested parties are cordially invited. The band Rhythm and Pipes meet Friends will perform and provide an atmospheric start. Visitors can experience the new platform in use for the first time - whether as a stage, meeting point or place to stay. The opening also marks the end of the construction work, which began in mid-May.

Representatives from administration and politics had already given the official go-ahead for the project with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony on May 27. The platform made of regional Oberkirchen sandstone measures six by four meters, is accessible without barriers and will be used in a variety of ways in the future - for cultural events, district festivals or as a quiet place to relax in the countryside.

The project is part of the federal funding program for sustainable inner cities and centers. The total costs amount to around 70,000 euros, 75 percent of which is being funded by the federal government.
