The six-by-four-metre sandstone platform was built as part of the federal funding program for sustainable inner cities and centers. With its barrier-free design, it will offer a variety of uses in the future - whether as a stage for cultural events, as a meeting point in the district or as a quiet place to relax in the countryside.

Construction work began in mid-May. The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony was held by representatives from the administration and politics on May 27. The project is now complete with the opening. The total costs of around 70,000 euros were 75 percent subsidized by federal funds.

All citizens are cordially invited to witness the opening and inaugurate the new stage platform in the castle park together.
