Smart City network meeting
Wolfsburg project at the regional conference in Halle
On June 3, the 22nd regional conference of the federal program Model Projects Smart Cities took place in Halle (Saale). Under the motto "Being smart: Building Bridges - Using Networks, representatives from municipalities, ministries, state administrations and municipal utilities from Central Germany came together to discuss smart urban development and digitalization.

Smart City Wolfsburg was also represented at the event: Mareike Blaul presented the Wolfsburg Smart Parking Test Field project in the Smart Mobility and Sensor Technology workshop. The innovative solution for digital parking space detection met with great interest and led to an intensive, constructive exchange with colleagues from the region.
Such events show how important supra-regional dialog is: sharing knowledge, learning from each other and working together on intelligent solutions for liveable cities - that is the way to a smart future.
