On the occasion of the Eberfest on August 1 and 2 in the old town of Vorsfelde, Lange Straße and An der Propstei will be closed to all vehicle traffic from around 7 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, as part of the necessary construction work. As a result, Kattenstraße and southern Meinstraße will also be closed to traffic. The closures are expected to be lifted again around 6 p.m. on August 3.

From Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 3, bus routes 201/221, 203/223, 216 and 265 will be rerouted in both directions. The bus stops Ernst-August-Straße, Petruskirche and Obere Tor as well as Ütschenpaul cannot be served. An alternative stop will be set up at the fire station. The Roßplatz stop will also be served.

Visitors to the Eberfest are advised to use the parking spaces at the Schützenhaus, at the Im Eichholz school center, at Achtenbüttelweg, at the Drömlingstadion and in the street An der Meine.
