The children's play area in the northern section of Porschestraße (at the ZOB) is temporarily closed for safety reasons. The city of Wolfsburg has ordered the closure to protect children and passers-by from possible injury.

The reason for the measure is a loose covering on the turntable, which poses a danger if it continues to be used. In addition, there are gaps in the fall protection floor in the immediate vicinity of the facility, creating tripping hazards. The closure will remain in place until further notice. The city of Wolfsburg will provide information as soon as the necessary repairs have been completed and the facility has been reopened.
