Left turn into Braunschweiger Straße not possible
Due to a burst water pipe, the two left-turn lanes of Siemensstraße onto Braunschweiger Straße currently have to be closed. LSW is working under high pressure to repair the damage. The closure is expected to remain in place for around two weeks.
During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, LSW received a drinking water fault at the Siemensstraße / Braunschweiger Straße junction. The water supply for the Leonardo Hotel is affected. As the fault is in the middle of the road, the two left-turn lanes coming from Berliner Ring out of town towards Braunschweiger Straße cannot be used.
We recommend a wide detour via Berliner Ring, Heßlinger Straße, Lessingstraße and Heinrich-Heine-Straße. We will inform you as soon as the work has been completed and Siemensstraße is open again.
