The city council is improving the children's playgrounds "Hinter den Kohlgärten" in Kästorf and "Hasselbach" on Steimker Berg. In Kästorf, planting and ground work as well as drainage work will be carried out first. A new trampoline and table tennis table will be installed from the 10th calendar week (March 2). In addition, an inclusive play combination is expected to be added from the end of March / beginning of April. The redesign will cost around 85,000 euros.

Work on the Hasselbach playground will start after Easter. A swing and two new football field goals will be installed here. A new two-tower system and an inclusive play combination will also be added. Depending on the delivery times of the equipment, completion may take until mid-May. The construction costs amount to around 140,000 euros.
