A new sewing course starts on Monday, March 2, at 6:15 pm at the adult education center (VHS). Registration is now open. With the new beginners' course, the VHS Wolfsburg offers an ideal introduction for anyone who wants to get creative, whether for relaxation, as a new hobby or for their own small upcycling projects. Participation allows all interested people an easy and motivating introduction to the sewing machine, without any previous knowledge and with a guaranteed sense of achievement.

The focus is on independent design. After an introduction to the operation of the sewing machine, basic techniques such as fabric selection, thread guidance and different types of stitches are taught. With small, practical everyday projects - such as a cushion cover, a pouch or a bag - participants put what they have learned into practice in their own work.
