If alcoholic beverages are to be served, additionally:
- proof of application for a certificate of good conduct for submission to an authority

If a temporary catering business is to be operated, for example at events, notification must also be given four weeks in advance. The aforementioned documents must also be submitted in this case.
If you wish to set up an outdoor area for catering purposes that is located on a public traffic area, you will require a special use permit.

- General decree on the handling of water pipes (so-called shishas) in premises of restaurants in the city of Wolfsburg
