Registration of marriage
You want to get married? Congratulations! We are delighted that you have decided to say "I do" in Wolfsburg.
Before your marriage can take place, you and your future spouse must personally register your marriage. The Wolfsburg registry office is responsible for registering the marriage, provided that at least one of the engaged couple has their main or secondary residence in Wolfsburg.
The registration of the marriage can only be made by prior appointment.
In addition to valid identification documents, various documents - depending on marital status, nationality and other personal circumstances - are required for registering the marriage.
