Wolfsburg residents can dispose of animal carcasses, for example deceased dogs or cats, as well as slaughterhouse waste that accumulates in smaller quantities (up to about 50 kilograms) in the private sector, at the animal carcass collection point for a fee.

Notice:

The animal carcass collection point of the city of Wolfsburg is closed with immediate effect and will be demolished. A new collection point is being planned, and a temporary solution will be created until it is completed. If necessary, animal carcasses and slaughterhouse waste can be disposed of for a fee after prior notification by telephone via the veterinary office of the City of Wolfsburg, which can be reached at 05361 28-2141.

The City of Wolfsburg maintains an animal carcass collection point at Dieselstraße 36, 38446 Wolfsburg (next to the fire department). The collection point is locked by a bolt. The key can be borrowed from the fire department, room 126, during business hours.

The fee for disposal is:

for animal carcasses up to 20 kilograms: 2.50 euros
for animal carcasses over 20 kilograms: 5,00 Euro
for slaughterhouse waste: 10,00 Euro
