Offers of help and support
AGE - Psychiatric help for older citizens
The AGE (counseling for relatives, memory consultation, relief talks) is a contact point for older people with mental illnesses and their relatives. The counseling center is a cooperation between the city of Wolfsburg and the AWO Psychiatry Center Königslutter. Care is provided on an outpatient and outreach basis. The members of the multi-professional team offer competent advice and psychosocial support. It coordinates medical, social and nursing care services for people with a geriatric psychiatric illness who wish to remain in their familiar home environment. In addition to individual support, the team offers advice for relatives or family members who are caring for an elderly person with a mental illness.
Please call in advance to make an appointment for a consultation.
