Advice on saving energy

Once again this year, homeowners can obtain advice on this topic from the Lower Saxony Consumer Advice Center as part of the energy transition at home campaign. They will show where energy is being lost unnecessarily in the building and what countermeasures can be taken. The use of renewable energies is also part of the advice. The campaign is being carried out in Wolfsburg as a joint project with the Lower Saxony Climate Protection and Energy Agency and the Wolfsburg Energy Agency and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.

In Wolfsburg, energy advisor Margrit Zawieja provides advice every first and third Tuesday of the month between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the offices of the consumer advice center in Lessingstraße 72. Registration is mandatory by calling 0511911960. Advice can also be given by telephone or online. If a need for further advice is identified during the consultation, appointments can also be made for home visits. This consultation costs just 40 euros thanks to funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. These services are free of charge for low-income households with appropriate proof.

The Wolfsburg Energy Agency can be contacted by telephone at 053618918235 and by e-mail at info@energieagentur-wolfsburg.de. The customer office is located at Heßlinger Straße 1-5.
