"This makes it clear to all citizens at first glance that there is a nest on the tree and that the city of Wolfsburg is already aware of it. A suitable distance should be kept from these trees," explains First City Councillor and City Planning Councillor Kai-Uwe Hirschheide.

The marking tape will be removed promptly by the contracted company after the nests have been vacuumed. This procedure has proved successful and will therefore be continued. We ask that you do not remove these marking tapes yourself.

Priorities for processing

The reports are processed according to a fixed prioritization:

• Daycare centers, schools, clinic, care facilities, playgrounds
• sports facilities, Allerpark, public green spaces
• Street greenery on footpaths and cycle paths
