The road construction work currently underway on Braunschweiger Straße out of town between Siemensstraße and Röntgenstraße has been delayed by a few days. The originally planned completion date at the beginning of August has been postponed to Wednesday, August 6.

"The reason for the delayed start of the work was some nests of the oak processionary moth, which had to be removed in the area at short notice for occupational safety reasons," explains Oliver Iversen, Head of Road Construction and Project Coordination.

Braunschweiger Straße is expected to be fully accessible again from Thursday, August 7. Only the Theater stop will not be accessible again by WVG until August 12. This means that the roadworks will be completed during the summer vacation.
