On the occasion of the Fallersleben Old Town Festival there will be the following traffic restrictions. Road users are requested to observe the changed traffic regulations.

From Wednesday, August 27, at 6:00 a.m. up to and including Monday, September 1, at approx. 12:00 p.m., traffic barriers will be installed in the Fallersleben Old Town area. This also affects footpaths and cycle paths. Pedestrians and cyclists, especially e-bikes and e-scooters, are asked to take care in this area. The aim of the installation is to ensure that no unauthorized vehicles enter the event area.

In addition, the following roads will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic from Wednesday, August 27, from 17:00 until Sunday, August 31, at 12:00:

• Westerstraße including Denkmalplatz from the junction with Hofekamp
• Marktstraße from the junction with Sandkämper Straße
• Bahnhofstraße in a southerly direction including Kampstraße from the junction with Mühlenkamp or Am Neuen Tor

Outside the event times, Westerstraße and Marktstraße can be used by local residents. It will also still be possible to exit Kampstraße in an easterly direction, but not to enter.

In addition, one side of Bahnhofstraße and both sides of Marktstraße will be closed to traffic. The adjacent stores can be supplied until 10:00 a.m. each morning.

Denkmalplatz itself will be closed to vehicle traffic after the end of the weekly market.

Sandkämper Straße will be closed in a northerly direction from the junction with Marktstraße on Thursday, August 28 and Friday, August 29, from 19:00 onwards, as well as on Saturday, August 30.
