With the cooperation project "Schwerelos", the creative workshops at M2K worked together with Hellwinkel Primary School in Wolfsburg for the second year to open up the school and immerse the children in the possibilities of their city. The creative workshops coordinated visits to various cultural institutions and then welcomed each class to the Alvar Aalto House of Culture to creatively translate the experience.

The first classes first went to Wolfsburg Castle in the city museum in the M2K. The second classes went to the Wolfsburg Planetarium and experienced a presentation on the topic of "How do you live on the ISS". For the third classes, the Wolfsburg Art Museum was the place to experience this. The fourth classes got to grips with the idea of space and design at the Forum Architektur. The listed Alvar Aalto House of Culture was the place to experience this.

All of the almost 400 children then worked on their experiences in the creative workshops at M2K. They presented the results in a pop-up exhibition in their gymnasium on September 3. The project is to be continued in future school years. The recurring visits to municipal institutions create lasting connections.
