In 2025, the city of Wolfsburg will once again be supporting owners of monuments and buildings that are particularly worthy of preservation with grants for refurbishments that are appropriate for listed buildings. Funding is available for projects on and in private buildings, such as the refurbishment of historic windows or floors, painting facades in period colors or renovating half-timbered structures. A total of 50,000 euros in funding is available.

Applications can be submitted until September 30. Final invoices and photos documenting the condition before and after the renovation are required. An external commission will decide on eligibility for funding. Feedback is usually given at the end of the year.
