Autumn creative and adventure offers
The Wolfsburg Youth and City Library invites children and young people to a series of exciting and creative events in the fall. Whether craft activities, competitions, readings or games - there is something for all ages. Children and young people can give free rein to their creativity on Monday, October 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. and transform the youth library in the Alvar-Aalto-Kulturhaus into a real chamber of horrors. During this time, the aim is to make a scary Halloween decoration together with other young people. Registration at Jugendbibliothek@bildungshaus-wolfsburg.de is required.
A Halloween party in the youth library in the Alvar-Aalto-Kulturhaus awaits children and young people on Thursday, October 30, from 6:30 pm (until around 9:30 pm). An evening of fun and creativity is planned, with face painting and a costume competition where everyone can show off their most creative costume. A photo corner will make it possible to capture the costumes in pictures and share them with friends. The event is aimed at girls and boys aged twelve and over.
From October 27 to November 15, all children between the ages of four and eight are invited to creatively design their own seasonal tree based on the book Ava and the Tree of Life. At the beginning of the painting and crafting competition on October 27, children can pick up a creative sheet at the city library, which should be returned to the library by November 15. The pictures will be awarded prizes and the winners will be notified from November 18. An exhibition will then be held in the city library.
