The eighth supra-regional School Band Slam will take place on Sunday, November 9, at the Hallenbad - Kultur am Schachtweg. School bands from Wolfsburg and the region will have the opportunity to present themselves under professional conditions and compete for one of the top three places. The bands will be judged by a jury consisting of employees from the youth development department and the indoor swimming pool. There will also be an audience award, which will be determined by a digital vote from the audience. There are vouchers from a music store to be won.

The event is organized by the Youth and Culture initiative in cooperation with the indoor pool. The following schools are taking part this time: Neue Schule Wolfsburg, AWO Lotte-Lemke-Schule (Braunschweig, BS), Heinrich-Nordhoff-Gesamtschule Wolfsburg, IGS Heidberg (BS), Gaußschule (BS) with two bands, Realschule Calberlah and Gymnasium Kleine Burg (BS). Admission is free. Admission is from 14:30.
