Arbitrators as guests in the town hall
Last Wednesday, the city of Wolfsburg invited all volunteer arbitrators to a joint meeting with Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann. The focus was on an exchange of views on current topics relating to arbitration work and a review of the volunteer exchange. The meeting paid tribute to the commitment of the arbitrators, who contribute to out-of-court conflict resolution throughout the year.
Topics discussed included the need to provide premises for the arbitrators, terms of office and deputization regulations and digitalization. Each of the 16 arbitration districts in Wolfsburg is currently staffed by one person. In order to make the honorary office more widely known and to advertise for future appointments at an early stage, the city provides information about the tasks and general conditions of the arbitration office at www.wolfsburg.de/schiedsamt.
