Christmas caroling in the community hall

The Maritime Choir Wolfsburg invites you to this year's Christmas singing in the town hall on Friday, December 5, at 2:00 pm. In the town hall, the choir will join Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann and ensembles from Wolfsburg's music school to sing Christmas carols in front of the Christmas tree. In addition to German classics such as Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen, international Christmas hits such as Feliz Navidad, Auld lang syne and many more will also be performed.

The Maritime Choir Wolfsburg and the Lord Mayor are looking forward to welcoming many young and old singers. The flyer with the song texts will be available on site.

About the Maritime Choir Wolfsburg

The Maritime Choir Wolfsburg was founded in January 2001 by water sports enthusiasts from the local clubs on the Allersee on the initiative of Werner Schuhmacher. The very first choir rehearsal was attended by 22 singers in the clubhouse of the Wolfsburg sailing club.

The love of maritime music and singing together grew and the choir soon gave its first performances. The repertoire and the music were constantly expanded and today include many genres with a maritime connection: mood songs, traditional shanties, work songs and also melodies from films and musicals. To date, the choir has more than 100 songs in its repertoire and is accompanied by four instrumentalists.
