The Citizen Services division will not be open to the public on Friday, January 2. Different opening hours apply to the Municipal Taxes and Property Taxes departments at the turn of the year. On Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30, opening hours will be limited to 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The departments will be closed on Friday, January 2. In addition, telephone accessibility is guaranteed during the usual office hours.

The individual city and district offices will be closed as follows. The offices in Almke, Detmerode, Ehmen/Mörse, Hattorf, Heiligendorf, Neindorf and Westhagen will be closed up to and including January 2. During this period, all documents can be collected from the Fallersleben administration office. From January 5, Almke and Neindorf will be open again as follows: Almke in the even weeks and Neindorf in the odd weeks. There will be no changes to the opening hours of the other offices in 2026. In addition, the Fallersleben administrative office will be closed all day on Thursday, December 18 and Friday, January 2.
