Trainee exchange with Halberstadt
Training content: Making friends! On Tuesday, we welcomed trainees from our twin town of Halberstadt to Wolfsburg with their mayor Daniel Szarata. Two days of exchange, new contacts and exciting experiences were on the agenda.
Together we went through the town hall, to the planetarium, to the city museum on the history and culture of Wolfsburg and to the Volkswagen plant. Many thanks to Halberstadt for your visit - and to everyone who made this enriching exchange possible!
Why Halberstadt?
This year, Halberstadt and Wolfsburg celebrated the 35th anniversary of their twinning with a varied program of events. The twinning agreement was signed in October 1989, when Germany was still divided. Many friendships have developed to this day.
