Das Nutzungshandbuch Porschestraße regelt wichtige Aspekte wie Rettungswege, Gastronomie- und Veranstaltungsflächen sowie die Integration von Infrastruktur und Freizeiteinrichtungen. Es bildet somit die zentrale Grundlage für die Belebung der Fußgängerzone - sowohl durch private Akteure als auch durch das Citymanagement der WMG. Mittels des verlässlichen digitalen Tools können die Nutzungsansprüche strategisch besser aufeinander abstimmt und die notwendige Infrastruktur vorbereitet werden.

Konkretes Ziel der Fortschreibung ist es Potenzialflächen im öffentlichen Raum zu ermitteln. Dies geschieht durch eine Erfassung und Neuordnung aktueller und künftiger Nutzungsansprüche. Diese Potentialflächen sollen langfristig einer attraktiven Nutzung bspw. durch Spiel-, Sport- und Aufenthaltsangebote zugeführt sowie zur Klimaanpassung genutzt werden.

Parallel werden temporäre Sofortmaßnahmen zur Steigerung der Aufenthaltsqualität ab Sommer 2025 bis 2028 auf möglichen Potenzialflächen umgesetzt, um neue Nutzungen aktiv zu erproben.

QR codes on the steles can be used to evaluate the measures and their location on site, and suggestions and tips for alternative locations can be submitted. On-site inspections will also take place with the Children's and Youth Advisory Council.
