What does old mean?
Exhibition at the senior citizens and care support center
The touring exhibition "What does old mean?" by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth is making a stop in Wolfsburg: it can be seen in the premises of the senior citizens and care support center at Schillerstraße 40 until May 22.
The exhibition is the result of the photo competition of the same name and showcases the winning photographs as well as many other entries. The pictures confront the viewer with various facets of age(ing): Do the prevailing images of old age still correspond to today's life expectancy? Are our ideas of age(ing) still up to date? Or do they even stand in our way?
Anyone interested is cordially invited to attend during the opening hours of the Senior Citizens and Care Support Center: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 12 noon and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
If you have any questions or would like to register a group, the team at the Senior Citizens and Care Support Center can be contacted by telephone on 05361/28-2848 or by email at pflegestuetzpunkt@stadt.wolfsburg.de.
