There are still places available at Forum Architektur's Baukulturcamp from August 4 to 7. Due to the high level of interest, the minimum age for participation in the four-day program has been reduced to twelve years. The program starts at 9.30 am and ends at 4 pm. Supervision is possible from 8 am. The cost of materials is 40 euros per child. Further information and registration via www.wolfsburg.de/baukulturcamp or by e-mail to forum.architektur@stadt.wolfsburg.de.

During the four workshop days, the children and young people will gain an insight into various professions and topics relating to planning and construction. During a look behind the construction fence, experts will show how a building is created and which professions are involved. Experts will explain the important role that trees and plants play in the city during a trip to the urban forest.

Above all, however, it's about trying things out together. Simple materials and connections are used to test how constructions can be made particularly stable and material-efficient. Small pieces of furniture are created from recycled materials and the young planners can design their own living quarters on a three-dimensional model.
