Tokens often sell out quickly

However, demand is so high that the waiting stamps are often sold out early in the day. The waiting stamps are intended to be a supplement to the online appointment system, not a replacement for it. So if you want to plan with confidence, it is best to continue to use the booking system - including for the Vorsfelde and Fallersleben branches. It is worth checking regularly, especially for urgent matters: Appointments become available again and again due to last-minute cancellations.

Respect is not an option - it's a prerequisite

Unfortunately, in the last few days we have seen frustration over out-of-stock waiting labels turn into verbal abuse and threats against our employees in some cases. This is not just disappointing - it is unacceptable. "Our employees are on duty for citizens every day. The fact that they now have to come to work in fear is absolutely unacceptable. Especially because we want to achieve greater citizen satisfaction with the service," emphasizes City Councillor Andreas Bauer. "We take these incidents very seriously and will take appropriate measures to protect our employees. For me, respectful interaction is a basic prerequisite for us to be able to maintain such services. Of course, we will look at how we can further optimize the processes."

What we are doing now

As an initial reaction, the waiting tokens are now being issued under the supervision of the security service. At the same time, we are looking into how we can further improve the process. One thing is clear: respectful interaction is the basis for every personal conversation - especially in challenging situations.
