The Forum Architektur invites you to film evenings in the former cinema in the indoor swimming pool (Hallenbad - Kultur am Schachtweg). The feature film The Brutalist will be shown there on Wednesday, December 10, at 6:30 pm. Admission is free.

The Brutalist tells the fictional story of the Jewish-Hungarian architect László Toth, who builds a new life for himself in the USA after the Second World War. The formal language of brutalism not only stands for a new, radically modern architecture, but also reflects the protagonist's life story. The uncompromising aesthetics of Brutalism become a metaphor for survival and strength, the search for identity in exile, coming to terms with the past and the price of success.
