As part of the Council and Legal Affairs division, the Local Affairs team is the first point of contact for citizens in Wolfsburg's districts for a wide range of information and municipal services.

Your activities:

  • Processing of all registration procedures (e.g. registration and re-registration, registration certificates, certificates of good conduct)
  • Processing ID card and passport applications as well as vehicle registration matters
  • Management of the tax office
  • Performing other services for various divisions and subsidiaries of the City of Wolfsburg
  • Support in the organization of the Fallersleben folk and shooting festival

You bring with you:

  • Civil service qualification for career group 1, 2nd entry level, specializing in general services, completed training as an administrative assistant or completed employee course I
    Alternatively: a completed three-year vocational training course with a legal focus (e.g. paralegal) or as an office management clerk and are willing to commit to participating in an employee training course I with examination completion (information at Angestelltenlehrgang 1 in Niedersachsen | NSI (nsi-hsvn.de)). This group of people agrees to remain in this position with the City of Wolfsburg for at least three years after successfully completing the training.
  • A focus on the common good and an interest in working in local government
  • friendly and engaging manner, ability to work in a team, strong customer and service orientation and experience in dealing with customers
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours, willingness to work even during peak periods and in exceptional cases outside regular working hours
  • Class B driving license and willingness to use your own car as a company vehicle are desirable.
