The municipal daycare center at the Gutspark offers a total of 80 childcare places in 2 crèche and 2 kindergarten groups. With its focus on "nature and creativity", the facility blends in wonderfully with the beautiful estate park and invites the children and staff to spend time in the beautiful outdoor area every day. As we have only recently been able to appoint a new daycare manager, we are looking for a deputy who can imagine working with the team to further develop the high educational standards of the facility. Like all our municipal daycare centers, we also work according to the Early Excellence concept at the Kita am Gutspark. According to this concept, every child is regarded as unique and special emphasis is placed on working in partnership with parents. This requires a basic pedagogical approach that values diversity and takes equal opportunities into account, including gender sensitivity and inclusion.

Your activities:

  • You are a permanent representative of the daycare center management in a daycare center with 2 crèche and 2 kindergarten groups. The daycare center works with a focus on nature and creativity.
  • You will be actively involved in the development of the pedagogical house concept, which follows the principles of the Early Excellence approach.
  • With your expertise, you will contribute to the implementation of the pedagogical profile within the framework of quality development and participation processes.
  • As a pedagogical specialist, you will educate, care for and raise crèche children and/or kindergarten children.
  • You will observe, stimulate and document children's development processes in everyday activities, free play and individual activities.
  • You will work together with parents in daily contact and as part of parent-teacher meetings and parents' evenings in the spirit of an educational partnership.
  • As part of your management responsibilities, you will be jointly responsible for around 17 employees and the care of up to 80 children.
  • Office work as well as personnel and financial administration are part of your regular duties.

You bring with you:

  • You are a social pedagogue/social worker or childhood pedagogue or educator, each with state recognition.
  • An additional qualification for the professional and/or organizational management of a daycare center, e.g. EEC consultant training or qualification in the field of language promotion and development, is desirable.
  • Enthusiasm and affinity for working in a daycare center according to the Early Excellence concept.
  • Willingness and ability to provide individual development support and documentation
  • Willingness and ability to work in partnership within the team, with parents and institutions associated with the daycare center
  • Ability to take on daycare management tasks on a regular and temporary basis, in particular high organizational and implementation skills, affinity and knowledge of personnel management and business organization as well as basic skills for daycare administration including PC and office work
  • Good and confident communication skills
  • Proof of measles immunity must be provided.
