The day-to-day work of a municipal building administration is of great social importance. We set the course for the quality of people's living environment in their city. Your activities:

  • Organization and management of the "Road Design and New Road Construction" department with 25 employees, including all financial and personnel processes
  • Management, development and implementation of road planning, road construction and lighting planning
  • Coordination with project participants and representatives of the division as part of the client function
  • Preparation of expert opinions and representation vis-à-vis politicians, citizens and non-specialist bodies
  • Participation in special projects

You bring with you:

  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's or Diploma) in civil engineering, transportation, urban planning, road construction or a comparable qualification or
  • Qualification for career group 2, 2nd entry level of the higher technical administrative service (major state examination) is desirable. If the requirements under career law are met, employment as a civil servant in grade A 14 is possible. If the personal requirements are met, an additional recruitment bonus may be granted.
  • Alternatively: Completed university degree (Bachelor) in civil engineering, traffic engineering, urban planning, road construction or a comparable technical engineering course of study (in this case, classification is one pay grade lower in E13). For this group of people, there is the possibility of further qualification for classification in E14 under certain conditions.
  • Conflict resolution skills in dealing with different interests
  • Knowledge and experience in multi-project management
  • Planning, networking and implementation skills
  • Ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary approach
  • Confident manner and persuasiveness
  • Driving license class 3 or B
  • Knowledge of and commitment to gender equality issues
