The Finance division bundles all central financial tasks of the city and the municipal holdings. As part of the business division, the City Treasury handles the payment transactions of the city's business divisions, books their business transactions and is responsible for securing liquidity and collecting the city's monetary claims. We are looking for you to secure these central tasks.

Your activities:

Collection of public-law (taxes, fees, contributions, fines) and special private-law claims in administrative enforcement proceedings:

  • Execution of enforcement measures (e.g. address investigation, notice of enforcement, visits to debtors, determination of social circumstances, receipt of means of payment, recording)
  • Seizure of movable assets (e.g.: visiting debtors, affixing pledge seals, determining non-seizability, securing and storing the seized items, recording)
  • Maintaining the central seizure file

You bring with you:

  • Civil servant qualification for career group 1, 2nd entry level, specializing in general services or equivalent qualification as a tariff employee (employee course I or administrative assistant)
    Alternatively
    Completed vocational training as a paralegal or judicial clerk and the willingness to commit to attending clerk training course I and passing the examination. This group of people agrees to remain in this position at the City of Wolfsburg for at least three years after successfully completing the training course
  • Enjoy working independently
  • Confident manner, also in conflict situations, negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Mental resilience
  • Possession of a valid class B driver's license and willingness to use a private car for business trips
