The education and participation package is designed to enable children and young people from low-income families to participate in social activities and receive special school support.
Eligible are families with children who receive one or more of the following benefits:
- Basic benefits for jobseekers (unemployment benefit 2).
- Assistance for subsistence/social assistance
- Benefits according to the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act
- Housing benefit
- Child supplement according to the Federal Child Benefit Act
Important: For citizens who receive unemployment benefit 2, the Jobcenter is responsible.
Applications are to be submitted where social benefits are received (Jobcenter, Wohngeldstelle, Servicebüro des GB 03 - Rathaus B Zimmer 104)
