Adventure week inspires children

The Fallersleben active playground offered a week full of adventure, creativity and animal encounters during the fall vacations. Every day, the 15 participating children aged between six and ten were able to build, play and discover to their heart's content. From building stalls and carving to stroking goats, the children enjoyed numerous exciting activities.
Thanks to the support of the Margarethe Schnellecke Foundation, four children from financially disadvantaged families took part in the adventure week. On behalf of the children, the youth development department would like to express its sincere thanks. Nicole Kannewurf, deputy chairwoman of the foundation, was impressed during her visit to the adventure week: "It's wonderful to see how much fun the children have building booths and carving. We are delighted that we were able to enable children to take part who would otherwise not have had the opportunity to do so."
A detailed report with the children's voices can be found on the city's website at wolfsburg.de. The Fallersleben active playground is open every day outside the vacations from Tuesday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:45 and welcomes lots of children.
