This is what awaits you during your dual studies:
- the dual study program lasts 3 ½ years (7 semesters incl. bachelor thesis)
- Your dual studies take place in the building construction division (Wolfsburg city center)
- You will acquire your specialist knowledge at the University of Applied Sciences 21 in Buxtehude
- theory and practical phases alternate in a 13-week rhythm

You bring with you:
- Technical college entrance qualification or high school diploma
- manual dexterity, aptitude for precision work, spatial imagination
- technical understanding and logical thinking
- Interest in mathematics and physics
Your activities during your dual studies:
- design, plan, calculate, construct, organize.
- application of standards and codes of practice, in static calculations
- construction operation and site management
- Responsibility for costs and deadlines
- Dealing with IT applications (project management, controlling)
- Preparation of tender documents
- Construction price calculation, invoicing
- Construction preparation and site set-up
- as part of the theory phase: lectures, seminars, laboratory exercises and examinations
